Des Moines, Iowa - City Map Layered Sign - Laser Cut Wood Wall Hanging

This wall art piece features an a multi layered city map of Des Moines, Iowa. There are 4 layers to this 3D map. The bottom layer is painted blue to show the river. The next layer features the cut out of the river, and engravings or the railroad, buildings and major points of interest are labeled. The botanical gardens, Iowa state capital complex, science center, principle park, wells fargo arena, john & mary papajohn sculpture park, library are some examples of labeled attractions on this layer. The next layer is the roads of downtown Des Moines. The three main districts of downtown are also labeled on this layer. The Western Gateway Park, Historic Court District and Historic East Village are labeled. The top layer is the frame trim which features "Des Moines" attached to it in a brush script style font.

Suggested hanging with command picture handing strips to allow for a clean look. It could also be hung to rest on hooks or small nails if desired.

14 inches wide by 11 inches in height - please be aware the smaller of these sizes is much more fragile and you will want to take care when hanging it to ensure the delicate roads do not get chipped. I do my best to package it with care to keep it protected during shipping. If you are local to Central Iowa, you may also request a porch pickup option.
